Understanding the Approval Tab

Once your Asset information has been completed the Approval tab provides an area for the authoring organisation to request approval from certain contributors.

An asset will be locked for editing when there are outstanding approval requests however once an approval has been finalised the asset will become editable again. This is to allow more flexibility in the system for assets that may change and need reviewing more often. 

You can send your asset for approval as many times as necessary and all past approvals are recorded in the approval history section at the bottom of the page.
