Article summary

The Organisation Assurance page details your organisations Assurance Level and the Information Sharing Gateway Usage Agreement (MoU)

Assurance Level

Your organisation's Assurance submission can be viewed by other organisations on the ISG and assures other organisations that they are sharing data with an organisation that has taken the necessary steps to ensure safe data sharing.

Depending on the information you provide in the Assurance Submission your organisation will be given an assurance rating of either one of the following;

  • Significant (Green
  • Limited (Amber
  • None (Red)
  • Expired (Red
  • Not Submitted (Grey

You can still set up sharing agreements with organisations that have limited or no assurance on the ISG but the organisation's assurance will be displayed in the Data Flow, DPIA, Data Sharing Summary and more.

Policy and procedures will differ between organisations and so some organisations may be unable to share with your organisation if your assurance is expired or not submitted.

Information Sharing Gateway Usage Agreement (MoU)

The ISG Memorandum of Understanding sets out a number of general principles of Information Governance that all organisations who use the ISG agree to.

On the MOU page you can download a copy of the MoU, see who signed it and when it was signed.
