Article summary

A Lead Organisation is able to support another organisations use of the ISG if needed, commonly this is required if a Lead Organisation would like to enter into a data share with another organisation but this organisation lacks the administrative support to set up on the ISG system. The Supported Organisations feature allows a Lead organisation to register a Supported Organisation on the ISG, manage their users, assist with the assurance process and signing the MoU.

Lead Organisations are defined by having a high level assurance and usually where the data sharing agreements are implemented. Supported Organisations will usually be defined as an acceptor of an agreement.

A Supported Organisation can be registered by an Administrator at the Lead Organisation, this Administrator will be a member of and have a role at the Supported Organisation in order to provide support in using the system.

If you are part of a Lead organisation your supported organisation will be shown in the Supported Organisations tab like the example below

This gives you a snapshot idea to how each supported organisation is progressing in their set up.

For a step by step guide to adding a supported organisation please see How to add a supported organisation

If your organisation is a Supported Organisation this page will not be available to you.
